Not anything that formed into a pattern, Phil. Although as we know, SDGW tends to have a cut off point of 11/11/18. It was certainly a worthwhile exercise as there were names on SDGW that weren't on the GRO overseas deaths and vice versa. Most names originally identified by our volunteers as not being recorded by CWGC, in fact were - there were there under slightly different names, units, etc. It's left us with a very small number of cases where, for whatever reason, we have not put them forward to CWGC because we don't think there's sufficient evidence. For example, there's a fairly recent thread on the forum drawing attention to two men of very similar names, died the same day with the same unit. One is commemorated, the other isnt. We had noted the name soem years back but our assumption at the time had been that this was a duplication so we did not put the name forward. However, the person starting the recent thread had found both listed in the soldiers effects register - now providing proof that there were, indeed, two men. The name has now gone forward.
