It is a series of folders in box. I have copies of some of them and took 170 photos.

It used to be kept in two boxes of the standard size, which was about 1000 sheets of foolscap each. However, it is divided into twelve sub-folders, as follows, so you may not need the whole file.

A    Siege Batteries RGA
B    Canadian Siege Batteries RGA
C    Heavy Batteries RGA
D    Army Brigades RHA and RFA
E    Allotment of ASC units
F    ASC Companies
G    Mechanical Transport Companies
H    Index to RASC Companies
I    Machine gun units, Tank Corps, Mountain Batts RGA, HQs Heavy Art Groups
J    Entrenching battalions
K    Medical units, France
L    Medical units

A, B and C usually have two or more usually three batteries per sheet. D has one brigade per sheet.

I am fairly sure that it has been digitised, or at least copied for digitising, so you may find more info on TNA's website.

That's very kind both of you, thank you very much. I have no specfic task at present but I shall keep this tucked away.  Grateful for your time.
