David Porter Posted 1 August , 2017 Share Posted 1 August , 2017 It is a series of folders in box. I have copies of some of them and took 170 photos.
Ron Clifton Posted 1 August , 2017 Share Posted 1 August , 2017 It used to be kept in two boxes of the standard size, which was about 1000 sheets of foolscap each. However, it is divided into twelve sub-folders, as follows, so you may not need the whole file. A Siege Batteries RGA B Canadian Siege Batteries RGA C Heavy Batteries RGA D Army Brigades RHA and RFA E Allotment of ASC units F ASC Companies G Mechanical Transport Companies H Index to RASC Companies I Machine gun units, Tank Corps, Mountain Batts RGA, HQs Heavy Art Groups J Entrenching battalions K Medical units, France L Medical units A, B and C usually have two or more usually three batteries per sheet. D has one brigade per sheet. I am fairly sure that it has been digitised, or at least copied for digitising, so you may find more info on TNA's website.
