thetrenchrat22 Posted 25 July , 2017 Share Posted 25 July , 2017 I know there was an early thread about this subject. from that I have written to the CWGC about the UBS cross in St Paul's, Hooton, Cheshire and I'm still waiting a reply I was in Cardiff Castle, early this year and there is cross to an Unknown Soldier of the Welsh Regiment in the Firing Line Museum and they have notice up stating that the cross was above the grave of the Unknown Welsh Solider buried in Tyne Cot Cemetery
Philip Wilson Posted 25 July , 2017 Share Posted 25 July , 2017 Very commendable project. Images and whereabouts of some original WW1 grave markers can be found in Gerald GLIDDON's book 'The Aristocracy and the Great War,' published in 2002 - ISBN 0947893 35 0.
