Thank you  I'm just glad after several years of  searching what happened a hundred years ago,  this pretty much is the final jig saw piece.  Only 19 a very Brave young man. A trip.to Cambrai this year is planned to pay my respects.

A bit of back ground to this story.

My grandfather was named after Edward with exactly the same  name. His father was one of 8 brothers including Edward with at least 5 served. During/ after WW2 the family fell apart and only a trip up the Barrow in Furness Cenotaph brought this soldiers name to our attention. The local paper cuttings from 1917 state that Agnes his mother was informed Edward was missing believed captured. However a week later Edward was confirmed K.I.A from some of the crew that had escaped.

After a lot of searching I have out of the blue received Edwards Medals from a distant relative who wished me to be Custodian.

Just weeks before Armistice 100 years later.

Hi don't know if anybody has seen these pics. Seemingly they are for sale. The dead crewman looks like the crew around F27 in another pic. Anybody confirm my thoughts?

Thanks
