Guest Posted 7 March , 2020 Share Posted 7 March , 2020 Can anyone please tell me about the bronze Peace and Victory medals with the crossed axe and sheathed sword insignia and NEGERI SEMBILAN on one side and KAMANANGAN 1919 AMAN on the other? There is also an English version, with VICTORY 1919 PEACE. Were these medals awarded to the Malay States Guides after the Great War? Does anyone know who made them, where (Calcutta Mint, perhaps?), and to whom they were distributed? I'd like to attach photos of the one I have but don't know how it is done. Best regards Ron
Guest Posted 7 March , 2020 Share Posted 7 March , 2020 OK, after registering it all became clear. Here are photos of the medal I have and the third, with ribbon and pin, is an image captured from eBay some time ago. There also is an English PEACE 1919 VICTORY version I'm aware of. Thanks.
