IPT Posted 9 July , 2017 Share Posted 9 July , 2017 I've got a suspect, Alfred Francis Hayward, born 1876 in Cheltenham, who has pre-war service papers. He was an Armourer Staff Sgt with the Gloucestershire Regiment and served in South Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore and India prior to January 1914, when he was A.O.C attached Middlesex. Interesting he was also at the Mutiny in Singapore 1915, subject of another current thread.
