Kimberley John Lindsay Posted 20 June , 2017 Share Posted 20 June , 2017 Dear GWFs, The original of this rather charming 1921 photo - taken on a Great War Aftermath Tour - showing the then immensely popular HRH Prince of Wales, together with his ADC, must reside in some London archive. But which one? Perhaps someone can put me on the right track... The ADC was Indian Cavalry Capt Edward Dudley "Fruity" Metcalfe, MC. The good-looking but penniless Irishman "Fruity", later married a daughter of Lord Curzon. My scan was from a 1990 publication ("A Desert Kingdom"). Kindest regards, Kim. thelindsayhouse@web.de
michaeldr Posted 21 June , 2017 Share Posted 21 June , 2017 Another photograph of Fruity + PoW + Lord Louis Mountbatten (previously see in this old thread on Brooks, who may possibly have been the photographer on both occasions)) I'm sorry that I cannot help with your search, but I thought that you might enjoy this second shot regards Michael
