chaz Posted 19 May , 2017 Share Posted 19 May , 2017 (edited) just acquired a BWM to Charles Wheeler ( family named is my theme) who was in the Somerset Light Infantry as 203702 ad Welsh Regt as 285144. Ive checked a few resources but he was at No. 31 Casualty Clearing Station. No. 6 Convalescent Depot. I am unable to find the locations, could someone assist, nothing serious, maybe Delhi belly, possibly discharged a weird combination of ailment reported "inflammation of connective tissue Axillia (Diarrhoea) " , The Axillia apparently is the armpit, sounds like someone dosnt know their Ar$e from their elbow!! sotonmate Posted 26 May , 2017 Share Posted 26 May , 2017 Both of these units seem to have been in SALONIKA. 31CCS has some Admission and Discharge Registers surviving in the MH 106 series on the Discovery database, from 1916 to 1919. War Diary for 6 Convalescent Depot is WO95/4939 but only covers May to Nov 1918 in Salonika.
