I am researching the life and military service of Squadron Quartermaster Sergeant Harry Trill, Royal Engineers. Trill served in the Great War as a Sapper in the Royal Engineers. He reenlisted in the Royal Artillery the day after his discharge from the R.E. and served until 1941 when he was discharged from the R.A. In 1947 he enlisted again in the Royal Engineers, but I think that he probably was serving in the Territorial Army during WW2 as his medal group contains the Defence Medal and War Medal. His medal group is shown below, from left to right: British Empire Medal, 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Defence Medal, War Medal and Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. Research is ongoing. Awaiting a copy of his service papers.  Anyone know of a photo of Trill?
