gday, i am seeking as much information i can in regards to my Great Great Grandfather John BROWN 5336, is it possible to get more information ie. medical records, firld ambulance records etc, i have his service record with the following information

 

John BROWN 5336

3rd MGC B213 9th Battalion

long history of VDG :0

was wouded in action and treated at 1st ACCS on 4th October 1917

transfered to 17th CCS where he died of wounds 9th October 2017

 

i am trying to place him through his war service as want to trace where he was, many thanks and appreciate the help

Hi Steve

The 9th Bn War Diary has this for the first 8 days of Oct.

Brown possibly wnd during enemy bombardment in retaliation to 2nd Brigade attack.

thankyou very much for this information, i want to list all these little places they were at as so can retrace their steps as much as possible, is there any hospital records that would still exist, many thanks
