Hi again

Firstly i would like to thank the people that read and responded to my last post.

I have a new question i was looking at one of my grandfarthers medals

On the back it has a stamp with what looks like (SPR),

I have a feeling it stands for SAPPER

Would i be correct

Thanks Trent

Yes quite correct, Spr stands for Sapper. :)

You're quite right, Trent, SPR means "Sapper" which is the Engineers' equivalent of "Private."
