He's down as Reginald in Cliff Housley's Notts and Derby Gallantry book - and there's a picture of him

His enlistment date would have been around 14th August 1914 - If that helps any?

of course  - different name - but number and date ties up

sorry for the quality -it's not great in book and scanner doesn't like paper type

He enlisted on the 13th August 1914 when aged 19 years 6 months. BRONNO.

That estimate of mine wasn't too bad then!

I just pulled it off my SWB roll which gives 12386 Waring as 14th August.
