Private 712 Henry Wood 6th Machine Gun Company AIF (formerly 22nd Battalion) killed in action First Bullecourt.

"Harry" was a member of Lt. F. Windsor's No. 2 Section, two guns of which were deployed as far along the railway cutting towards Queant as was possible. He was killed by shellfire and has no known grave. Also remembered Pte.1039  Walter "Wally" Compton also of No. 2 Section who was killed in the same action and again has no known grave.

Never Forgotten.
