You'll probably find your answer here (although Class Z is not specifically mentioned the same general rules would apply) - https://archive.org/details/thewarpensionsallow00hoggrich Time on reserve didn't generally qualify for pensions entitlement unless a man had died due to something caused or aggravated by army service.
