Any on forum look-ups from Wyrall's history of the Gloucesters 1914-18, just ask.

Dave.

Hi Dave, :)

I'm interested in Pte Albert Williams 25112 8th Btn Kia 23-7-16. I know you won't have anything on him, but you might about the action he was involved in, as I believe it was that day Carton de Wiart was wounded. Thanks.

Cheers

Tim.

Sorry, Tim.

This particular book only covers the first 6 Battalions of the Regiment.

Tim.

(you probably already know this), but on that date, the 8th were involved in an abortive (and costly) attack on Switch Line (or, more accurately, Intermediate Trench, which lay just in front of it) near the NW corner of High Wood.

As per my announcement, I'll no longer be doing "look-ups" on this thread.

Sorry!

Dave. :)

Would be interested in anything relating to the 1/6th Btn. Glos. Regiment during May 1915 and if possible tp privatte 3385 Arthur James Cyril Blackmore.
