Terry Carter Posted 11 December , 2004 Share Posted 11 December , 2004 Pte Herbert Fuller was serving in Italy at the end of the war. So he was either in the 48th or 7th Division serving with one of the Royal Warwicks battalions, which one I do not know. (can anyone help?) He then transferred into the Labour Corps his new service number being 656255. Would this number help identify which Labour battalion he served in? Thanks Terry LATEST INFO Using the CD Rom "Soldiers Died" I found six soldiers that died all in the 1/8th Royal Warwicks all with similar service numbers all around Herbert Fuller's 29346 number. i.e. 29338, 29339, 29341, 29343, 29347 & 29350. All these men were from Suffolk and had formerly served in the Suffolk Regt. Is there a Suffolk Regt historian that may be able to say if Herbert Fuller had also served in the Suffolk Regt. Terry Carter Posted 14 December , 2004 Author Share Posted 14 December , 2004 I have added a bit of Info to the above query. Is there a Suffolk Regt Historian out there? Cheers Terry
