Remembered Today:

Royal Warwickshire POSSIBLE SUFFOLK REGT

Pte Herbert Fuller was serving in Italy at the end of the war. So he was either in the 48th or 7th Division serving with one of the Royal Warwicks battalions, which one I do not know. (can anyone help?)

He then transferred into the Labour Corps his new service number being 656255. Would this number help identify which Labour battalion he served in?

Thanks

Terry

LATEST INFO

Using the CD Rom "Soldiers Died" I found six soldiers that died all in the 1/8th Royal Warwicks all with similar service numbers all around Herbert Fuller's 29346 number. i.e. 29338, 29339, 29341, 29343, 29347 & 29350.

All these men were from Suffolk and had formerly served in the Suffolk Regt.

Is there a Suffolk Regt historian that may be able to say if Herbert Fuller had also served in the Suffolk Regt.

Thanks

Terry
