rhimsl Posted 10 December , 2004 Share Posted 10 December , 2004 Just wondering if anyone out there knows which Field Ambulance Unit Number was the 1st/1st (West Riding) Field Ambulance. I looked on the list on the parent site but could not find it listed. Thanks for the help and Happy Holidays! Robert
Paul Reed Posted 10 December , 2004 Share Posted 10 December , 2004 This was part of the 49th (West Riding) Division and I am pretty sure was known as the 1/1st West Riding Field Ambulance RAMC throughout the war; Becke's 'Order of Battle' does not show any FA numbers for it.
