Pte Charles Alfred Grant, Royal Warwickshire Regt

Charles Alfred GRANT died on 22nd December 1916. He lies in the St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, Seine-Maritime, France and is commemorated on the North Bradley memorials.

Charles started his working life as an Agricultural Labourer, then later a Mason’s Labourer, employed by Linzey & Son of Trowbridge.

Charles was called up and joined the Royal Warwickshire Regiment on 21 March 1916. He became ill and was admitted to No. 9 General Hospital based at Rouen, France and died of dysentery on Friday 22nd December 1916.
