My wife's grandfather, William Robert Warr joined up in Oct 15 and served as a Sapper in a Sanitary Company. With the much needed help from others on this forum, for which I am very grateful, I now know he was transferred to the 84th Sanitary Section as Acting L/Cpl in 1917, returning to England in 1919.

He and his colleagues produced a hard backed book containing anecdotes and other stories about their travels during the campaign. The following link will enable you read and enjoy the book.

Also attached is a list of the contributors to the book and what I believe may be their Unit, Rank and name hopefully you may find a relative among them.

Good Luck
