macbun Posted 18 November , 2016 Share Posted 18 November , 2016 Hello, Can anyone point me in the right direction. I am trying to obtain any records relating to my great grandfather Patrick McLaughlin from Ballycastle. He was in the UVF prior to the outbreak of the second world war. He was then I believe called back into the army and served with the 2nd Bn Royal Irish Royal Irish Rifles. His service number was 5576. He was killed in France on 27.10.1914. If they existing the UVF records that I am interested. Thanks for your help in advance
