zippy.72 Posted 13 November , 2016 Share Posted 13 November , 2016 I have a postcard of a group of men with MGC cap badges taken at a camp in September 1918. Underneath, the caption reads 'Tank Draft.' I am assuming that these men would be gunners in tanks or am I wide of the mark here?
delta Posted 13 November , 2016 Share Posted 13 November , 2016 Likely to have been sent to Bovington to join one of the new battalions (19th to 23rd) being formed there at the time. Agreed that they would probably have been used as gunner in the first instance
