mutley Posted 1 November , 2016 Share Posted 1 November , 2016 Does anyone know if the British Army used Van Arcken pocket watches at all during WW1? A friend has just been given a pocket watch and was told it was used by a soldier during the war. It has the Dutch makers mark of Van Arcken and a Zenith movement, from a quick internet search it looks to be about 1900 in date. It has a date of Feb 1913 engraved on the back plus W10/2/1. Any suggestions welcome
