SamCurt Posted 17 October , 2016 Share Posted 17 October , 2016 Having seen a few Imperial War Graves Commission Reports on Headstone Inscriptions and Texts (Reports A & available through the CGWC website, I wonder if anyone here can clear up the numbering system identified in the Badge Design and Layout Number column. Entries applicable to RFC/RAF personnel all appear to have a 1192/ badge design, but the layout identifiers seen so far have been 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D or 1E. Looking at photos of some of these headstones, I can't seen any physical difference in, for example, a 1192/1C and a 1192/1E layout, apart from the fact that one headstone has two lines of text under the Religious Emblem and the other four. Can anyone help? Thanks, Sam
