roel22 Posted 28 September , 2016 Share Posted 28 September , 2016 I'm looking for info on a battle Infanterie Regiment 142 was involved in. On 14 may 1918 they attacked trenches near Vierstraat, north of Kemmel. This attack failed when a machinegun opened fire from an already overrun trench. I have info on this from the war diary of RIR 238, but as I understand this event was also mentioned in the IR 142-diary. Any help would be greatly appreciated. roel22 Posted 28 September , 2016 Author Share Posted 28 September , 2016 IR 142 was from Baden. Not a lot to share (3 pages) but important to me! Roel
