Guest Foster Posted 20 September , 2016 Share Posted 20 September , 2016 During World War I, much of the French Army in Algeria and Morocco went to France to fight the German Army. During that time, the various Moroccan tribes fought the French and General Lyaute had a hard time trying to keep control of the country My question is were the French troops who fought with gallantry in Morocco from 1914 to 1918 entitled to be awarded the World War I Croix de Guerre?
