Pte Lord died of spinal caries

In case anybody is wondering, 'Spinal Caries' is an antiquated term probably meaning Tuberculosis of the Spine, which carries the eponym 'Pott's Disease of the Spine'.

There certainly was a lot of TB around then wasn't there?
