George Edmund CUNINGHAM

Major George Edmund CUNINGHAM was the C.O. of 1024 (Burma) MT Company RASC, one of the five Burma Mechanical Transport Companies that served in Mesopotamia. He died of dysentery on 6th December 1918 in the field. He is commemorated by the CWGC as "CUNNINGHAM" but he spelled his name with just the one "N." How does this error get corrected?

You probably need to provide them with proof. eg attestation form. MiC. Medal Roll entry etc

For a possible commemoration in Moulmein, Burma, see https://www.greatwarforum.org/topic/274923-memorial-in-st-matthews-church-moulmein/
