Well done CWGC

In researching the role of the Welsh Guards at Third Ypres, I noticed that 2851 Pte. Thomas Evans of Flint, who died of his wounds on 5 September 1917, did not have his Military Medal acknowledged on the CWGC site or on his headstone in Mendinghem Military Cemetery. I have just received this reply from the CWGC Research Team:

'Thank you for pointing out to us the missing award on the records we hold for this gentleman.
This has now been amended and will appear on our website  at the next update. Arrangements are also being made to add this to the existing headstone.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.'

Well done the CWGC!
