CWGC added the following casualties to the WW1 War Dead Roll today.

 

BRINSON, Alfred Stephen

Coastguardsman 

H.M. Coastguard

Died 27.04.21  Age 42

Commemorated: United Kingdom Book of Remembrance

 

CHALMERS, George Duff

Private  3044605

2 Bn, Royal Scots

Died 10.06.21  Age 18

Commemorated: United Kingdom Book of Remembrance

 

McKENZIE, Stewart Alexander

Private  732

6 Bn, Australian Infantry, A.I.F.

Died 12.02.18  Age 23

Buried: Brighton General Cemetery, Vic, Australia

 

NOT FORGOTTEN

 

Two of the above were In From the Cold Project cases.

- Coastguardsman Brinson committed suicide by shooting (Volunteer: Terry Denham)

- Pte Chalmers was abducted and shot in Ireland (Volunteer: Terry Denham)
