- Labourer Chou Ming Shan died of malaria aboard a train in Canada (Volunteer: Gregory James)

- Nurse Cousins died of pneumonia (Volunteer: Mark Duffy)

- Nurse Gooch died of influenza (Volunteer: Chris Harley)

- Nurse Harvey died of influenza (Volunteer: Chris Harley)

- Pte Knight committed suicide post-discharge due to shell-shock (Volunteer: Merve Goddard)

- Pte Rosier died post-discharge of tuberculosis (Volunteer: Phil Wood)
