Hi all im researching the royal field artillery  the 12th division  86th  87th 43 rd howitzer batterys have been looking at the war diaries  W0 95 /1597

The 86th based in Clonmel  87th  based in Kilkenny and the 43rd based in Waterford  all in Ireland .

Is it Possible to get records for these batterys in particular list of names that served each battery?

Also group photos or individual photos, where is the best place to look ?

Any help will be warmly welcome    Many Thanks  Martin

Martin:  You appear to be somewhat confused 86th, 87th and 43 (How) Batteries were part of the 12th Brigade, RFA (rather than the 12th Division) and were part of the divisional artillery of the 6th Division.  The chances of obtaining nominal rolls of each of these battery are probably slim to none as these exist for only a few RFA units and are usually found in the unit's war diary, if they exist.   There may be some group photos available but finding them can be a long-term hunt and when found the personnel in the photo are often not mentioned by name.
