While I have read many accounts of the Schwaben Redoubt, Feste Schwaben, I have yet to see a single photograph from the German side showing this location. I have gone through the history of the 26th Reserve Division, all of the regimental histories for this division and a number of other period works. While it receives mention has anyone ever seen a period German photo of the Schwaben Redoubt taken prior to 1 July 1916? Ralph Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
