TEW Posted 4 July , 2016 Share Posted 4 July , 2016 Just to be difficult I use photobucket! I deleted my post as I saw that others had mentioned the yahoo login. The original single image works ok for me the others don't. They probably work for you because you're signed in or cookies allow that to happen for you. I don't use flickr but there must be a way of getting a direct link which can either be pasted in as text or direct into the post via the 'insert other media' button bottom right and then 'insert image from url' However, that's not working when I try it with your link in post 14. Sorry TEW
tootrock Posted 4 July , 2016 Share Posted 4 July , 2016 If I go to https://www.flickr.com/photos/142080063@N07/ I get a message saying that "Lands End hasn't made any photos public yet". Does that help? Martin

TEW Posted 4 July , 2016 Share Posted 4 July , 2016 Good to see them! Small point - when I click them to see a full size image I'm asked to log in to Flickr to be able to see adult content!! Nice map but not very racy. The blue line that delimits the area looks like a divisional boundary and the purple blocks look like camps but they are shaded differently so have various designations. Can't think what the Ls mean. There is also a PL. Area goes way up to High Wood and the smaller black blocks look more like hutted camps. Can't quite zoom in enough to read the text for the map in post44. I may be assuming it's RAMC related but the epaulettes and map may just be something he happened to find and take home, right place right time and just grabbed a souvenir, like the plane fragment. Some clever ****** will know all the details for the aeroplane fragment. TEW
Neil Mackenzie Posted 9 July , 2016 Share Posted 9 July , 2016 Penrose I have hidden some posts which just had links that did not work. Clicking on the images above takes you to a page suggesting adult content - although clearly it is not. I am not a Flickr user so don't have personal experience of it's settings but one of their Forum mods suggested the following for someone who reported a similar problem to yourself. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Your global preference may indeed be "safe," but a miss-set uploader will override your global settings, moderating as "adult content" a photo of a chickadee. You can use the Organizr to find and re-set, as necessary, all of your miss-set photos in fairly short order. ♦ Open the Organizr ♦ Near the bottom, click "More options" ♦ Click the lower left-hand box ♦ Under "Safe Search Filters" ♦ Click "Only show restricted content" ♦ Click and drag up to the work area photos needing changing. ♦ Click "Permissions" ♦ Click "Set Safety Filter" ♦ Select "Safe" if it is not already checked. ♦ Click "Change safety filters" before leaving."
