He was known as 'Nelson' from a very early age. Everyone including his wife called him Nelson.

 

Even my mother did not know why but thought it was something to do with Admiral Nelson. Its even included on his gravestone.

 

Please include it.

Thanks Bob - that's fascinating. 'Nelson' would have been appropriate in the conditions pertaining at Third Ypres!!!

 

I'll certainly include it.
