Ken has explained his campaign medal entitlement on post 13. He was entitled to three medals He did not recceive a gallantry award.

 

He enlisted to 3rd Bn (Special Reserve) on 8 9 1914. It looks he has lied about his age (given as 19) His record is available on Ancestry.They are in a damaged condition though. Do you have these?

The picture you have we as a family know that this is Evan Lloyd-Morris..i must show you a picture of my Nain, Annie Lloyd-Hughes.  Her maiden name is Lloyd-Morris,  Evan's sister. We believe  It is not Bayliss  but how can we change this information.?

Happy to find this page with comments from cousin Barry and other family members. Uncle Evan was my great Uncle, brother of my grandmother Ellen Lloyd Morris. It seems appropriate to share on here today 11-11-2018 his medal card.

I am another great nephew of Evan Lloyd Morris. My son and I visited his grave just outside of Bethune in 2019. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread, about his life.
