After my last trip my daughter did a film for her Uni project on Sgt Lewis McGee www.vimeo.com/127092430 This time we visited Hamburg Farm to try and see the bunker Lewis stormed when he won his VC. The farm is run by an 85 year old and his son. Strange people who do not like strangers and refuse point blank to allow any access to the bunker. Visited Johan Vanderwalle who owns the pub the "Anzacs Rest" in Zonnebeke. You really must visit there and if youre lucky Johan may show you his private collection.
