Remembered Today:

William Thomas Wainwright

Trying to determine when William Thomas Wainwright, formerly of 1/3rd County of London Yeomanry (service no. 2218) would have transferred to 12th Bn. Middlesex Regt. (G/40753).

There seem to be a number of men with service numbers like G/40741 & G/40645 who transferred into 12th Bn. from various yeomanry units. I am guessing this would have been 1916 as drafts to replace casualties at Trones Wood or later at Thiepval but so far research online has not provided any further detail.
