I wonder if anyone can identify the cap badge?

I have been told that he served in the RGA and there is a possibility that he also saw service in the RFC, Looks like R.E. to me!

Your help is appreciated.

Martin.

He may have served with the RGA as many signallers were transferred to the RE near the end of the war, and if he was/did then it's possible he did serve with RFC men.
