Hi All,

I'm looking very hard for a photograph of Dick Hughes who won the DCM with the 8th Battalion Somerset Light Infantry in 1915. He was an ex pre war regular with the 1st Battalion and was killed on 30th November 1917. Are there any Somerset. LI Specialists out there who may have or be aware of a photograph of him? I'd be delighted to hear if so, as he was the first man from Neath to win the DCM in the war and I would very much like to include a photograph of him in my forthcoming book.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Best

Jon

Hi Guys,

Yes, and thanks very much - I had traced a semi decent photo of him in the newspaper. Was just hoping that a good photograph of him was knocking about, either in a publication or in a collection somewhere.
