No citation of a particular action published. https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/35532/page/1796 He was also M.I.D. https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/35763/supplement/4691 A website on British General Officers of WW2 "credits" him with the D.S.O. and Bar, and M.C. When his marriage was announced in The Times on 17.1.1945 he had just the post nominal D.S.O., at this time he was retired from the Army so this throws doubt on the supposed bar to the D.S.O and the M.C.
