William Thomas Cobb - 30 years a musician - then what ?

William Thomas Cobb served in the Coldstream Guards for 30 years (1903-1933) in the Coldstream band and orchestra - he played the bassoon.

Could someone please tell me what he was doing after 1933 ? When he enlisted he gave occupation as a (14 yr) old musician. Cant imagine he gave it up after so long

There is a lovely picture of him and 3 of his brothers in uniform on ancestry - if any one can get me in touch with the poster Id be much obliged.

I think he died in 1971 (born 1888)
