Moriaty Posted 5 June , 2013 Share Posted 5 June , 2013 Having just visited the Sandham Memorial Chapel, I see in this topic that Lieutenant Harry (Hal) Willoughby Sandham who was in France, then transferred to Macedonia,685th motor transport coy. concert party. The Stanley Spencer paintings in the chapel are extraordinary, but there is little information on Lt Sandham and his family. Census records indicate that he had been an engineer and then a theatre manager. I just wondered if there was any further information on Hal and the concert party?
