historyphil Posted 13 April , 2016 Share Posted 13 April , 2016 Hello Each, just viewed the programme, "Easter Rising: The Enemy Files" narrated by Micheal Portillio, produced for BBC Northern Ireland and available to watch via BBC i Player . Very honest, warts and all, interpretations of the events surrounding Easter 1916 made by several of the Great and Good of Modern Irish history as well as including, almost confessional, contributions from some ex high ranking British establishment figures regarding Room 40 , MI5 and especially British Army orders for House Clearing "lacking clarity". 50 minutes viewing well spent.
