A series of lectures on video hosted at The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland on a variety of subjects covering Ireland and the Great War.

'Playing The Game', Sport, Ireland & The Great War'

This video brings you a conference held at PRONI in November last year. Lecture topics included Sport in Donegal during the Great War (Dr Conor Curran); The GAA and the First World War (Dr Dónal McAnallen); The military value of sport (Tom Thorpe); Recruiting sportsmen's units in Ireland (Dr Tim Bowman); and Irish sportsmen and the Great War (Stephen Walker).

'Ulster & The First World War.'

PRONI was pleased to host a lecture by renowned author and historian Jonathan Bardon OBE on Ulster and the First World War. This was to conincide with the launch of his new publication with the same title.

'Ireland & Gallipoli.'

This was a joint conference by PRONI and Antrim and Down Western Front Association branch held on 30th April 2015. This conference seeked to examine this campaign 100 years on with special focus on the experience and role of Ireland and Irish people.
