I am trying with no luck so far to found out any details about an RFC man H C Noot. All I know about him is that he was rank AM2.

Any help or ideas where to start greatly appreciated.

Here is his medal card:

www.documentsonline.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details-result.asp?Edoc_Id=4593644&queryType=1&resultcount=23

That is all I could find.

Judging by his RFC issue number (2444), I'd say he joined the Flying Corps around November/December 1914.

Regards

Matt.

Woody,

I dont know if this helps but I have the Trio to Benjamin John NOOT 1/4 Wiltshires. I have it as he comes from my home town of Neath in S.Wales. There was a Dr Noot in Neath post war. All the NOOT casualties in ww1 (3)

seem to come from Wales. Hope this helps, but I doubt it!

Woody

I have found Horace Clifford Noot born in the second quarter of 1896 in West Ham, Essex.

Can't find any other candidates so far.
