Guest shelleymccuk Posted 26 November , 2004 Share Posted 26 November , 2004 Hi, I'm looking for any info on WILFRED HOLLINGWORTH, a Private in the 18th Batallion Manchester Regiment, killed 31/07/1917. His Service No was 41463 and the grave/memorial ref is Panels 53 & 55 of Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. I am looking particularly for photos or any info additional to the above. Many thanks, Shelley

Guest shelleymccuk Posted 27 November , 2004 Share Posted 27 November , 2004 Thanks for looking, Andy, most kind of you! I'm going to sound REALLY thick now, but what does SDGW stand for - I'm afraid I'm new to this, please pardon my ignorance Shelley
stiletto_33853 Posted 27 November , 2004 Share Posted 27 November , 2004 Hi Shelly SDGW is a CD-ROM called Soldiers died in the Great War, a database containing the dead of WW1 including born, lived, enlisted in a lot of cases. It is done by Naval & Miitary Press and is invaluable sometimes although it is not cheap. Andy
