Someone supplied me with the name of the German unit serving in the St Pierre Divion and Schwaben area in September and October 1916, but I've mislaid it. Can anyone remind me?

Secondly, does anyone have access to the unit's war diary/history and could supply some info?

Cliff, I am not at home but off the top of my head I recall two of the regiments were the 180th IR and the 119th RIR. I know there were several others involved, AOK 4 provided a full list last time I believe.

P.S. I have these regimental histories, what are you looking for specifically?

A little searching came up with two regiments, one a strong possibility and the other identified. In the case of the September fighting it was probably the 55th Reserve Regiment from the 2nd Guard Reserve Division, the fighting on October 14th would have been the 110th Reserve Regiment, 28th Reserve Division.
