Looking for any information on "A"Coy 12th KLR as my Great Uncle 14811 Arthur Parker was killed whilst serving with the Battalion.

I have found out that maybe when he was killed he had the Acting rank of Sgt Major, but most records say Sergeant.

I would like to know the lead up to his death on 1st May 1917 and any other information as to his recovery from the field, along with three others of his Coy, they all have no known grave, but were buried, and later only crosses found where they lay ????

Any help will be of great help

Regards

Geoff
