Trying to discover the fate of William Ross, a deserter from the 14th Royal Sussex who was prosecuted on four counts of theft while at Sevenoaks in 1917.

Details of the case in this blogpost http://sevenoaksww1.org/2016/01/13/mrs-hodgsons-war/

Haven't yet been able to find what became of him, so grateful for any thoughts on what is likely to have happened to him?

Thanks.
