Hello All,

Some of you may be able to remember a forum post a few months ago about a new work for Euphonium and Brass Band that was commissioned after my inspiration trip to France in August 2014 where I met my Great Grandfather Henry Nichols for the first time.

I am proud to reveal a a highlights video from the premiere of 'In Gardens of Peace' which was performed on 18th December 2015.

These highlights are available on the following link:

The story behind ' In Gardens of Peace' is a very personal story and my way of remembering my Great Grandfather Henry Nichols who was a Cornet player in The Coventry City Salvation Army Band, a band which I was part of for a short time. I hope that you will be able to use this music to visualize some of your own stories, memories and images.

Before I finish I would like to thank forum member Michelle for all her help and guidance as well as her involvement in a small project regarding 'In Gardens of Peace' which will be revealed soon.
